LEATHER CARE

What’s our biggest flex you ask? Our bags are known to last for a very long period of time. We’re talking anywhere between the range of 15-30 bag years. Our customers often walk in with 20-30 year old bags for polishing. The secret? Good leather of course but also Leather care.

Our bags are renowned for their remarkable durability, boasting an impressive lifespan ranging from 15 to 30 bag years. We are a 45-year-old brand and some of our earliest bags are still going strong. The secret behind this longevity, you ask? The answer lies not only in the quality of the leather we use but also in the meticulous leather care routine we recommend. Here’s everything you need to know about taking care of a new bag or your old favourite.

Regular cleaning
Dust, dirt, and oils from your hands can accumulate on the surface, leading to discolouration and deterioration over time. A gentle wipe-down with a soft, damp cloth can help remove surface debris. For deeper cleaning, use a leather-specific cleaner that doesn't strip away the natural oils.

Leather cream
Apply leather cream if your bag becomes dry and lifeless. The cream lubricates and replenishes the original suppleness and sheen of the natural leather.

Storage
When not in use, store them in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. To maintain their shape, stuff the bags with paper to prevent creasing. Proper storage can significantly impact the lifespan of your leather bags.

Save it from Moisture
In case your bag gets wet, stuff it and keep it under the sun or fan to dry. Don’t leave the bag wet for too long as it can lose shape. Do not use a hair dryer to dry the bag, it cracks the leather.

With the right TLC for your leather, you can keep your favourite bags looking as amazing as the day you got them. Just a little bit of care now can give your leather buddies many more years of life, proving that they're the real timeless gems in your collection!
